Due to circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are unable to host a conference this year.  We will be back next year though, so hold on to your seats for a spectacular upcoming VAPRA Conference!  We will post updates as we move forward with planning future events.

 

In the meantime, please remember to take care of yourself and continue to strive toward your goals during this crisis!

 

Here are just a few tips for staying well:

 

Use your WRAP Plan.

Take photos of yourself, scenery around your home, your pets, etc. and create a photo board.

 

Stay on schedule and make a plan for each day! Go to bed at the same time every night and wake up at the same time every day. Get up, brush your teeth, take a shower, get dressed and eat breakfast. Get plenty of nutrients by eating fruits and vegetables. Eat 3 healthy meals daily.

 

Exercise regularly. Go for a walk every day (remember social distancing).

Keep a Journal or Diary.

 

Call or Video Chat with friends and family members.

 

Take a break from Media/News.  Check the news once or twice a day. Focus on positivity.

 

Put together a text message group or email chain with family & friends on it so you can easily communicate with your friends and loved ones.

 

Create a Treasure Box of things you are doing  every day during the COVID-19 emergency, then bring your Treasure Box to the 2023 conference. We will have an open forum discussion about how we all victoriously conquered the crisis!

 

Focus on positive feelings and joy!
